PERSONALITY

Atsuko is Yusuke's mother, a single parent. She is one big drinking machine, that is, you'll never see her in anyway in the series without a bottle of liquor to drink. She deeply cares for Yusuke although her drinking covers much of his affection for him, but it did show when Yusuke died for the first time in the first episode. She's too drunk to ever get involved in the storyline of the series, but that's the way it goes...
